Cleaning staff ensure classrooms, corridors, halls and toilets are kept clean and hygienic, working on their own or as part of a team, depending on the size of the school.Cleaning staff usually work before school starts in the morning or after it finishes in the afternoon.Specific responsibilities include:Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standard.
