Community and Challenges Fundraising Officer (Maternity Cover 12 mths)
 The Child Bereavement Charity, based in Saunderton, High Wycombe is looking to recruit a Fundraising Officer (12month maternity cover)to raise funds to support bereaved children and families by stimulating, supporting and developing community and challenge event fundraising. This includes the management of a number of Child Bereavement Charity'own' events.
The applicant will be educated to GCSE level and will ideally have 2+ years experience of working in a charity fundraising environment along with experience of challenge and community fundraising. The applicant will be highly organised, have the ability to work on their own initiative and work calmly under pressure, particularly at events.
The applicant will be proficient in the use of CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite plushold a full driving licence.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be part of a team within a service which supports women with priority needs in Domestic abuse. You will liaise with statutory, voluntary and other key agencies and of course our clients alongside other Project Workers providing guidance and support.
The service addresses female re offending behaviour through the 9 reducing re offending pathways.
You should demonstrate relevant experience of working within a support or care environment and/or dealing with vulnerable people, have sound knowledge of issues facing clients and resources available in the community.
